Assessment Includes
- standard conversion compatibility blood panel
- genetic-marker review for known conversion contraindications
- complete physical examination and medical-history review
- body condition and baseline metabolic assessment
- abdominopelvic anatomy and available tissue capacity
- vascular suitability and expected conversion tolerance
- assessment of the proposed mucosal precursor-placement site
- baseline mineral, endocrine and metabolic values relevant to laying production
Accepted Oviposter candidates receive a small programme-specific precursor-cell deposit at an approved mucosal placement site during early induction. In female candidates the site is normally within the vaginal tract; in male candidates an approved lower gastrointestinal site is used. The precursor tissue develops into the mature oviposter structure under controlled endocrine and genomic stimulation. This does not constitute surgical organ transplantation.
