Accommodation is assigned by stock class, body size, production stage and behavioural compatibility. Ventilation, bedding, temperature and recovery space are monitored throughout placement.

Healthy stock performs better. Noble Farms therefore treats welfare, productivity and long-term programme stability as inseparable parts of responsible husbandry.
The Noble Standard
Care Is Part of Production.
Every Noble Farms facility operates under published welfare protocols covering housing, nutrition, clinical care, handling, enrichment, recovery and programme-specific production limits.
Welfare does not mean the absence of work. It means stock can perform its assigned function without avoidable injury, preventable distress or unmanaged pain.

Nutrition & Hydration
Rations are formulated around growth, output, body condition and metabolic demand. Clean drinking water is available according to programme protocol, with additional hydration support during production and recovery periods.

Clinical Oversight
Routine examinations, injury treatment, vaccination, medication review and programme-specific monitoring are provided by trained stock-health personnel. Production is paused when clinical thresholds require recovery.

Exercise & Enrichment
Movement schedules, social grouping and approved enrichment are matched to each stock class. Performance stock receives structured conditioning; residential stock receives activity appropriate to placement and temperament.

Humane Handling
Handling staff are trained in low-stress movement, safe restraint and equipment use. Restraint may be used for treatment, collection, transport or safety only under approved handling protocols.

Production & Recovery Limits
Collection frequency, reproductive scheduling, exercise load and performance intensity are reviewed against programme benchmarks. Mandatory recovery periods apply where published limits are reached.

Behavioural Welfare
Behavioural changes are tracked alongside physical health. Adjustment plans may include routine, social placement, conditioning support and reduced outside disruption during vulnerable stages of conversion.

Communication & Distress Reporting
Staff are required to document visible distress, withdrawal, injury and behavioural change. Where speech is reduced or unavailable, approved non-verbal response systems and behavioural distress scoring are used.

Facility welfare records include body condition, injury incidence, nutrition compliance, recovery intervals, treatment response, distress indicators and enrichment participation. Serious deviations require corrective action and documented follow-up.
Transition Welfare
Stability During Conversion
Major physical and behavioural adaptation can be stressful for both applicants and relatives. Noble Farms therefore limits direct family visitation during conversion and active placement. Approved updates are provided through designated family liaisons so adjustment can continue without unnecessary disruption.
